It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of club member Fred McCarthy yesterday morning.(4/28) He had battled leukemia off and on, prostrate cancer several times and was diagnosed a month ago with bladder cancer and yet was ready to fight. He NEVER stopped living his life for a minute! He traveled constantly and went to the theater, dinners, and clubs until Covid. He rode his bike many, many miles most mornings. He had a bad hip but kept going. He was an avid photographer and camera collector and did several presentations to the club over the years. He was passionate about life, his family and his country. He had both Covid vaccines and still tested positive almost 2 weeks later. He was still planning trips...planning his life.... We will miss his smile as he entered our club meetings, always a pleasure to see. We will certainly miss him.
